SUMMARY:The Wall That Heals
DESCRIPTION:The Wall That Heals \nThe Wall That Heals is a traveling\, three-quarter-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington\, D.C.\, accompanied by a mobile Education Center that helps tell the story of the Vietnam War and honor those who served and sacrificed. The exhibit will be open 24 hours a day and free to the public at Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs throughout Memorial Day Weekend\, May 22-25. \nVolunteers are needed in the following roles: \n\nAssisting with set-up and teardown of the Wall and Education Center\n\n\nStaffing shifts around the clock to help visitors\n\n\nSupporting ceremonies and special events held during the weekend\n\n\nHelping ensure a respectful\, welcoming space for reflection\n\n\nParticipating in the motorcade escort of the Wall and Education Center through the county\n\nClick the following link to sign up for a volunteer position:  https://www.pottcounty-ia.gov/news/volunteer_signup_now_open_for_the_wall_that_heals/
