DESCRIPTION:Rally on the Route – 16th Street Block Party \nA free block party to celebrate and support businesses in the streetcar corridor.\n16th Street will be fenced off between Farnam and Harney streets for food and drinks\, family-friendly fun\, beats by a local DJ\, and performances and activities by the Omaha Symphony\, Opera Omaha and and more\n\n Food and drink In the block party area\, participating restaurants will operate food tents or will have their doors open\, serving food and drinks for purchase. Nearby restaurants from 14th to 20th streets will also be ready to welcome you. Alcohol purchased from tents or businesses within the fenced-off area will be allowed throughout the block party area.\n\n\nPark Omaha will offer $1 garage parking at the Park One garage at 1516 Douglas St. and free metered street parking within 1 block of the event for the day.\n\nRally on the Route is being made possible by the generous support of The Lozier Foundation and the Weitz Family Foundation. The City of Omaha\, also an event sponsor\, is assisting with permits and coordination.
