DESCRIPTION:Springfest at River’s Edge \n3/28 & 3/29\, 11 am – 4 pm both days \nFREE \n\nGreat American Kites with their colorful\, record-breaking size kite show\nLive music\nFood trucks\nFamily friendly activities\n\nGuests can join the fun by bringing their own kite or purchasing one on site from Great American Kites. A designated hobbyist area will be available for flying kites\, giving families and kids a hands-on way to take part in the event. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs\, picnic blankets\, water bottles\, and snacks\, and a water bottle refill station will be available on site. Leashed\, well-behaved dogs are welcome.  \nParking is available in the 700-space garage at 4250 River’s Edge Parkway\, as well as on-street parking in nearby neighborhoods. For those looking to skip the parking hassle\, bicycle parking will also be available. Plus\, the first 100 people who arrive by bike will receive a free Council Bluffs T-shirt.

(Frozen water bottles aren’t allowed)  Free water refill stations will be available.\nPurses/Fanny Packs (Clear bags are encouraged)\nBug Spray –Non Aerosol\nSunscreen – Non Aerosol\nRain Ponchos\nBlankets\n\nThe following items are NOT Allowed into this show: \n\nBackpacks – this includes draw string back packs & mini purse backpacks\nCamelbacks\nUmbrellas\nLawn chairs\nCoolers\nProfessional cameras or Binoculars\nOutside food\nLarge chains\nSpiked bracelets\nSelfie Sticks\nBaby Strollers\nWagons\nHula Hoops\nGlow Sticks\nGoPros\n\n \nParking: \nThere is no parking in Council Bluffs\, general admission and pit ticket holders are to utilize CHI\, Independent & Paid Lots.  Ticket holders need to park on the Omaha side of the Missouri River and use the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge to River’s Edge Park. \nThere are several options for parking in Downtown Omaha: CHI Lot D which is directly adjacent to the CHI Health Center is one of the primary parking areas for attendees.  There are independent paid lots north of I-480\, nearest to the pedestrian bridge. \nRide Share services (Uber\, Lyft\, Z-trip\, etc.) main drop off and pick up location will be just south of 10th & Fahey at 603 Riverfront Drive. \nDeluxe and ADA and ticket holders are recommended to arrive to the venue in Council Bluffs earlier. ADA and Deluxe ticketholders arriving after 3pm should use AVE G to 40th Street\, then turn west on AVE B to enter from the north for parking garage access. \n \nLOCAL HOTELS offering shuttle service to and from the concert: \n\nCourtyard by Marriott\nHampton Inn at Ameristar\nHoliday Inn & Suites at Ameristar\nHilton Garden Inn\nSpringHill Suites by Marriott\n\n****Be sure to confirm shuttle availability with the hotel BEFORE booking***
