The Wall That Heals

The Wall That Heals is a traveling, three-quarter-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., accompanied by a mobile Education Center that helps tell the story of the Vietnam War and honor those who served and sacrificed. The exhibit will be open 24 hours a day and free to the public at Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs throughout Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-25.

Volunteers are needed in the following roles:

• Assisting with set-up and teardown of the Wall and Education Center

• Staffing shifts around the clock to help visitors

• Supporting ceremonies and special events held during the weekend

• Helping ensure a respectful, welcoming space for reflection

• Participating in the motorcade escort of the Wall and Education Center through the county
