Pets of the Week

Cat of the Week - Marshmallow

Marshmallow is a 2.5 year old, fully vetted Siamese-mix. She’s very chunky, so she will need to be on a strict diet (no free-feeding this girl!!). She does fine with dogs and kittens. She tolerates adult cats, but only from across the room… otherwise she will chase and smack em, so she would probably do best as a single cat, the only queen of the castle.

She is a lil couch potato… she will be your bestie while you binge watch your favorite shows together!!! She especially likes reruns of Paw & Order: SVU, The Real Housecats of Pawttawattamie County, and of course she always loves a good comedy like The Pawffice. She has been waiting for her forever home for a while now!

Dog of the Week - Asher

Asher is a 3 year old Cocker Spaniel. He is bouncy, full of life, and always ready for fun. He can get a bit overstimulated at times, so he’s looking for an understanding adopter who can help him navigate the world with patience and guidance.

He is not yet house trained, but with consistency and a solid routine, he’ll pick it up in no time. Asher does well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with respectful kids ages 12 and up.

If you’re looking for an energetic companion who will keep you smiling, Asher might just be your perfect match!

Have you ever thought of Fostering an Animal?

It can be a dog, a cat or even a bird! Foster homes are needed right now. It is a lot easier to foster an animal than you may realize. Experience is not necessary as long as you have a good home, a little bit of time and a whole lotta of love to give!!

There are rescue leagues throughout the metro in need of foster homes, right now! They will provide the food, and health care, at no additional cost to you. Foster homes are the healthiest thing next to a forever home! And if you have experience with a certain breed, that is a plus!
